The Great War, sparked by a conflict between two neighbouring countries who were once at peace, has resulted in nuclear annihilation. Billions have died and the great city of Clover Valley now crumbles behind the veil of dust. Across the wasteland, several individuals rise from the ashes and seek out the man who unkowingly holds the key to the events surrounding the war and the launch of the missiles, as well as what's to come. That man is you. You walk the wastes, machete in hand and a single goal on your mind. What does your past hold, and why do you try to keep it hidden? Who will you meet after the world has ended? Is this really a harem? This is Holocalypse, remade.

AAAAAHHHH FUCKING FINALLY! Here it is, the first part of the Holocalypse remake. I really should have released this earlier but it was originally combined with the second part and I had to split it when it was getting too long. I was also unsure about a lot of the decisions I made when writing this and kept it locked up in editing hell for a couple of months, changing a couple of paragraphs then undoing those changes. My main fear is that the worldbuilding and lore dumps are too long and might be a lot to take in, but they're definitely needed for the setting and for the plot to unfold from here on. Next chapter will really get the ball rolling, so please look forward to that. I tried to capture some of the dumbness of the original (as well as some key scenes), but obviously this is supposed to be an improvement so it might have a different feel. Enjoy!
