Gura isn't an odd target at all, she's the most subscribed vtuber. Success breeds jealousy and all that. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the biggest Gura antis are other smaller vtubers who like shitting on her because they think Gura doesn't deserve the fame. Most other vtubers are terminally online with a bunch of free time anyway, so I don't think this is that far-fetched.
