As an American I've never heard of such a thing in my entire life, and it sounds gross. I wonder if there are other foods in east Asia that they think are American but really aren't. That's pretty funny.

Her real voice isn't that deep. When she talks in her natural voice she still sounds unmistakably feminine, but it is on the deeper side in relation to the rest of the hololive members' voices like Korosan or Kanatan who most often talk in a higher pitched voice. At least Okayu's high voice doesn't sound annoying as hell like certain other hololive members. Personally, I prefer Okayu's normal voice over her high voice. Her natural voice still sounds cute in my opinion despite being deeper, but it can't be helped if she thinks she sounds cuter in a higher voice. After all, she loves to sound cute and receive compliments that call her cute. Maybe she thinks her real voice doesn't sound cute, or that she can't sound cute and cool at the same time.
I guess it's up to me, Okayu's loving and devoted husband, to send lots of "かわいい !!!!!!" comments whenever Okayu talks in her normal voice so she realizes her true natural cuteness.
