I'm a day one sub since I thought they might talk about Rance.
They didn't, so I wound up not watching them much. I do regret it since I started tuning to more of their streams after the graduation announcement and they were pretty fun.

It kinda does, but it starts being mostly about just consensual sex around Rance 5 or 6. At least on the MC's end. You still get some murder, torture, and rape, from villains and the like, since it's a bleak setting.
But one thing I often see people get wrong, is that rape is still treated as rape, it's not "rape until their eyes turn to hearts", most people Rance rapes (except a few which are actually just clinically insane) fucking hate his guts and want him dead, many even try. Him being an asshole usually comes back to bite him in the ass in some way or another, heck, the entire back half of the last game happens because one random nobody he's harassed for years shows up to a celebration he's hosting and fucking shoots his main love interest dead. This girl has been the heroine for nearly every entry in a 30 year long franchise.

I've heard this a lot but I'm still waiting for proof, closest I've seen was a timestamp of Akira shitting on Rance which showed glimpses of specific knowledge so she probably at least played one of the games

Someone mentioned that they rated Rance as their top VN or something in a different thread but I don't remember that, can't find that either. I was mostly a lurker, can any hardcore Traveler give proof?
