Even if his ccv was “crap” the amount of people rotating in and out all throughout the stream shows, and it’s FROM these spaces that holoEN just doesn’t reach any longer.
Remember, there was a point in time back in 2021 where 60-70% of Gura’s chat was unironically grayfags. Tourism and casual viewers uplifted Myth a lot back then. The whole point was that holoEN lost a lot of space to collect new faces because those places are being permanently invaded by fags who will continually try to lead these people elsewhere.
This doesnt exist in Japan because not only are JOPs terminally online but hololive are the biggest streamers in all of Japan. You literally can’t ignore them there because they’re that big and that popular
