There are 90 million Japanese speakers in the world. There are 1.2 billion English speakers. Realistically speaking JP should not even come close to being able to compete with EN since nationality is irrelevant when it comes to being a weeb or someone who would otherwise enjoy Vtubers as a medium.

There is no incentive to watch a male Vtuber for a western fan because all streaming niches have been filled by incredibly popular men. The same is true in Japan but to a lesser degree and the popular male Vtubers you see in Nijisanji are popular because they embody what it means to be entertaining. It has nothing to do with the avatar.

I'm pretty sure the rratiest thing I came up with myself is that Korone "faked" her Metroid Dread playthrough in some way. Not that she wasn't the one playing but maybe she for example cleared the game first and deleted her save data, or had a guide next to her, or something to that effect. She played way too well and it went way too smoothly for someone who was playing Metroid for the first time, especially considering it's one of the harder instalments in the series, if not the hardest.
