I think the reason she feels this way is that it really did take a while for her to be noticed. She was 200 viewers if she was lucky from when she started streaming March 2021 to December 2021 with little growth except for ASMR streams, where she had 800+ CCV. It took a while for her to gain a following that cared about anything but ASMR, as demonstrated by Ikumi they tend to only care for that, but now she has that she doesn't even realize.

Shondo is so mentally ill, socially stunted and broken that it's undoubtedly real. I trust her because she's a chronic oversharer and tells us how she really feels, even going as far as to remind chat she doesn't like lewd stuff IRL when they imply stuff like sleeping in a bed with her, she says she has to sleep alone. She very briefly got mad at chat (mostly mods fault) last stream and pouted for a couple minutes, then laughed it off, and after that she genuinely apologized to us for being grumpy. It's real, at least in her eyes.

She's said she gets a little jealous but she's aware it's unrealistic to expect someone to watch only her, because that would make the viewer feel sad and lonely since she can't stream 24/7.
She said it's fine to watch other girls, as long as when Shondo goes live you come back to her, and she's always your #1.
Despite her admitted jealousy over this she's surprisingly big on VTuber unity. Never heard her say a bad thing about another VTuber, and I've seen her in the chat of just about everyone else I frequent on Twitch at least once. She's very supportive and loves VTubers and VTubing, but she also gets pouty thinking we might like someone else more. Still, she sends us off to someone else at the end of every stream, sometimes someone big, sometimes small. She just loves VTubers.
I think she's just afraid of being forgotten too.
Shondo will always be my #1, so I don't feel bad watching others. She watches other VTubers in the time we spend away from each other too!
