That's how I make every single webm while adjusting for bitrate and timestamps. Sometimes you need to scale or crop and you can add those as you like but that's really all you need for 4chan. It helps if you download a short segment around the clip and then run it through ffmpeg bare like "ffmpeg -i inputfile.mp4 outputfile.mp4" to fix the chunking issues that come from downloading vod segments, or you can just download the entire vod if you're insane.

there's also plenty of things you can't do in guis like webmconverter such as easily trim and convert to raw mp4 without reencoding the whole thing as a webm or extracting audio from large files you can't just upload to cloudconverter
