So many newfags who need to touch grass. Holo girls have their faces featured in gacha games, anime, advertising campaigns, Nissin cups, horse races, Yokosuka festivals etc. But now that we have established these are ignorant newfags, the relevant question is: should theses things be okay for Cover Corporation?

The most common objection raised seems to be that hipsters don't find it cool to be associated with "corporate", aka "soulless" things. Which raises the question why they are simping for employees of a consumerist corporation like Cover. That's like the most unwoke shit one can do. So they aren't even hipsters properly.

The non-hipster, and therefore actually relevant, objection is that sponsorship can lead to dishonesty. But let us be real here. The vtuber world is one of constant Disney-like positivity by design and demand. You aren't gonna hear Gura or Calli offer scathing rebukes of a game they are sponsored to stream. Though they may still talk shit in a different stream, like Gura dissing Age of Empires in a stream with Ame. They aren't gonna tell blatant lies, but they will filter their most negative thoughts, and you should expect that.
