reality is boring. i can only be happy when suspending disbelief in a stylised, utterly unrealistic fantasy. the girl in OP image, for example, is only attractive to me not because she is 2D but because she is draconic in nature, with an unnatural hair colour and unrealistic proportions that defy various laws of physics in subtle ways. i can no longer enjoy the world i am trapped in.
