Now, this shit is cope. You're right, it probably puts them in the top 1% of streamers. That's like being the richest man in a slum. As an example, Panko is going to have her anniversary next year. She's earned about €11,000 from supas in that time, before Fishman cut. That's piss. The implication here is obviously they do not have staying power. For the human being behind the vtuber to survive, they will eventually need to leave. And the kicker is you're right: Panko is absolutely one of the more successful small corpos vtubers. It's still a horrible state of affairs for her, wasting her time entertaining you guys.
Why does the CCV matter here then? Because it needs to go higher to improve her standard of living. If you don't care, you want her to suffer for your entertainment. Streamers need a baseline. Most small corpo chuubas do not meet this baseline.
