They had this trilogy laid out and prepared. You do the basic bitch stuff in Game 1. Then you proceed to more complex shit in Game 2. And what did these clusterfucks do?
Game 2 starts and you have to gather party members AGAIN. You start working for a NEW organization from the bottom. Ultimately they could have just given you a brand new character that isn't named Shepard and it'd be the same damn thing. Do we build up for a more complex story and deeper exploration in Game 2? Nah, fuck that, gather party members again and prove yourself to the new boss.
Thinking about the wasted potential of that fucking game makes me see so fucking mad.
Don't get me started on the Mako - a flawed mechanic - that should have been improved rather than reduced to a game of darts.
