this is a great example of what I wrote. He has a legitimate take (observation on how holofags are under a company marketing spell, similar to Applefags, where even an empty unrelated announcement already makes them frenzy in zealotry), but he HAS to reinforce how controversial it is so he gets hated or unfollowed.

Mocca never stops being right, so I will repost the picture.

I don't know if you people think this counts as a rrat but the reddit moderators think of indies (and by extensions WVTs) as a secondary thing.

So their head mod specifically said that, because /r/virtualyoutubers is supposed to be a place for users to discover Nijisanji and Hololive, and being an alternative place to discuss them. Their vision of the subreddit is that people just happen to "discover" other groups (and indies) while browsing through Niji/Holo posts.

He said that if they restricted talking about Niji/Holo to their subreddits then /r/virtualyoutubers would die out.

tl;dr any indie vtuber announcement of streams needs an upvote brigade to keep it afloat or it gets insta buried.

Is there a reason why Hololive wannabe companies like MyHolo and maybe soon Cyberlive keep on failing? Besides the part where Mocca is right (AGAIN) that people don't want to watch anything that isn't Holo?

Like maybe that their company names sound too much like bootleg brands or that they need a lot of venture capital cash injections?

Is there something wrong about their streamer talents or going for the idol look?
