Also this argument of design carrying her never made any sense in the first place. All the girls have input on their characters. Gura had a botch job for her rigging and a literal nobody as her designer. You can see this in her eye rigging, her shark hood (which she rightfully rarely uses), and expressions (like blushing or the stiff movement of her avatar) how poor of an effort they put into her in comparison to her genmates (Cover making clearly favoring Calliope). So the only aspect she had a influence in turned out to be amazing is clearly further proof she deserves the growth that she had.
