OP, have you considered increasing the quality of your posts? Then you might see less Mikoposting.

Art friends, I'm considering starting the commission stuff and all that schmuckery. If you have any experience with that kind of stuff, can you offer me some advice?

I've considered Kofi, Patreon, Paypal or cryto for my transactions. Right now I'm heavily leaning towards Patreon, just draw whatever I want and put it up there and whoever wants to see it will. But given my slow delivery time, I don't think many people would want to pay up (I also saw that Fanbox seems to be very similar, any info on that?).

Next up would be crypto, I'm still figuring out how it works but it seems relatively safe, but would limit my clients exclusively to crypto users which are actually not as common as one would think.

The other two options, Kofi and Paypal I'm very skeptical about, mostly for safety and privacy, as well as corpo stuff (Patreon has some scandals too) but I do admit that I do not know the pros and cons of all of these, which is why I'm asking for advice.

I would absolutely be fine with doing commissions or just posting my stuff behind a paywall, maybe even both. But it is pretty intimidating to go into it, with all these different opinions and sources, I wish to get a better, more realistic opinion on this, if you could help me that'd be great.

I think your main issue is that you yourself don't know what you want to do with your work. You stay on top of the line, not going down the erotica path nor the vile descriptions path. It may be hard to accept but your writing style of using the most unorthodox words possible isn't a great fit for smut, given the reader half the time is trying to understand what they are reading rather than jacking off. Not only that, but even though your concept is to describe how terrible the experience is, using the words like excrement, or piss and feces really isn't sensual at all and would kill most boners, if they are present. I don't want to say that you should abandon your style because it is what makes you, you. But it would be very hard for you to manage to turn this into an actual smut that is hot enough to jerk off to. Pic semi related when I read the words maggoty, somnambulant, immiserate, etc.
