It doesn't matter how you guys try to explain or spin it, what Selen did was pretty much 100% bad and in bad faith.

That is 100% sociopath behavior, and as far as we know she could have TBs of saved voice chat conversations with other people from NijiEN and even outside NijiEN, that she is waiting to use in her favor eventually

No wonder that Pomu is siding with Elira and is with her in Japan, I hope she doesn't interact at all with Selen ever again.

I was there for her debut and was generally intrigued with what she had to bring to the table. I watched her for a while and had a good time for the most part. However, one thing I picked up early on was how pitiable her life seemed, or perhaps that was just how she portrayed her life to her audience which made it came across that way. I remember even making a list of all the shitty things that happened to her when she told of them in her streams, but I ended up dropping it cause it was a rather silly thing to do. It was as though her whole existence was underpinned by some sort of chronic cosmic misfortune or karmic malaise. It was almost as if she had reached the platonic ideal of becoming a tragic heroine and, well, I suppose that hasn't really changed.

Doomer CS Graduate Pomie here, still haven't got a job. Graduated in 2018. I stopped applying to jobs in 2019. I did zero internships, so no experience, didn't have a strong portfolio, etc...
Been a semi-neet ever since (I make music on the side, trying to make it my whole thing but it's not working out well)
I'm going to push myself to complete a whole ass game this year, to at least get a portfolio started. I suggest you guys do the same with something in the niche you want to do, like making some websites if you wanna do webdev work, just do stuff to get you noticed. If you still have the opportunity, do internships. You basically NEED them to get programming jobs if you don't have a strong portoflio
Also as that other anon said, the whole industry isn't really hiring right now...It all just fucking sucks.
