ALL of them care about numbers, it's their job. They pretend to not care because it makes them look better and keeps gachikois around in the long term. No one wants to donate to someone who they think only sees them as a dollar sign. Doing stuff like occasionally turning off superchats or telling people they don't have to donate right after telling some sad story is actually part of a calculated plan to maximize profit in the long run. And yes, that does mean that every time your oshi tells some sad story on stream she is baiting pity superchats. Saviorfags are the backbone of their financial interests and they know it. Pomu's last stream before her surgery is the best example of this. Tell me every aspect of it wasn't calculated to get saviorfags to dump their whole paycheck on her.
