the tiers now are a more accurate representation of skill
the biggest example, Apex was the only game were there was more people in Master and Predator than Diamond 1,2 and 3 combined
basically, it was too easy to get master
with this new system we should see a "bell curve" distribution
in any other competitive FPS games like Valorant, League of Leyends, CSGO, OW, etc you already have this distribution
