I wouldn't compare those two, Scarlet Nexus problem is that its more of a VN with fighting stages. The advertising for it is incorrect.
They also made the mistake of attempting to change the box art to make it less anime, so now it looks horribly generic instead of what it actually is.

Tales has the backing of the entire tales franchise behind so it should be fine.
