Don't get drunk, ever. Its never truly worth it.
Drink good shit for its flavor. The burning alcohol is something you get used to, just like how people get used to spiciness. If you get good stuff you'll take really little sips of it and enjoy the act of drinking it itself rather than the after-effects of alcohol. That's what I do. There's no reason to buy the cheapest shit on the market just to pass out and forget you did anything.

There's basically a few levels levels of drunk that people use if you ever hear the words.

Sober - No drinks. Either the designated driver or the buzzkill

Drinking - You had some alcohol, whatever, tasted good, you don't feel much different

Buzzed - The sweet spot. You feel objectively better about life, and are more calm/relaxed. The reason alcohol is a "social" drug is because this stage makes people more open to try new things, talk to girls, say "fuck it" and do stuff, but still have your brain attached to your skull to not do something retarded.

Tipsy - Past buzzed, this stage has the same good vibes but you're objectively more retarded. Don't do any redneck shit you're going to cut your arm off.

Drunk - Properly boozed up. Bad things happen here. Everybody above shouldn't drive except the sober guy. BUT, this is the level where you start flooring it and killing people. Now is when you become irrational, texting schizo shit to your ex gf because you miss her, rambling while mumbling so nobody knows what you're saying.

Blitzed/Trashed/Fucked/ (Insert bad word here) - Beyond fucked. This is the level where people go to sleep and forget what they did when they wake up. For some reason, teenagers at parties I went to all WANTED to reach this level. If you're here, everybody less drunk than you is going to draw dicks on your face and post your passed out, puking ass on instagram

Bruh tier - Literally get your stomach pumped at the hospital you absolute alcoholic. Even the party bros are looking at you like "dude..."
