The thing I hate about the retards who use "le rabbit hole XD" shit, to go off on a tangent from what you said, is because they're more fans of "getting into a hobby" than they are actual fans of the hobby.
I may write up a bigger thing on this, because I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about that, but I think a fuckton of those people are more interested in the idea of getting into a community that is naturally filtering by way of a language barrier on the surface, but only as long as they have guide rails that make the so-called "deep, niche hobby" relatively easy to get into; which is why places like Reddit have an obsession with clips, and why they prefer to talk about JP holos over EN holos, because EN holos aren't seen as so "exclusive." That's also why they pride themselves on outsider status, like the deluge of people who identify themselves as Mano-tomos even now without knowing anything about Delta, or people who make themselves popular by ritual posting more obscure Holos.
Meanwhile, this place is adverse to the whole "rabbit hole" idea because that concept implies that you're still falling deeper and deeper into the community. But this place is a hobbyist board, intended for people who already understand it to talk to each other. So if you come to this place, it's more likely that you've hit the bottom of the "rabbit hole," so to speak, and you're already acclimated to the hobby, so the people here aren't going through a "new hobby experience," but already know how to watch streams while understanding them, both for JPs with reps and/or Live TLs.
I think that's why this is the only place to talk about EN Holos to any capacity outside of places like twitter or fancords, which I don't endorse, because they're garbage for other reasons. Redditors fetishize the experience of discovering "funny moments" through clips, and digging through clips to find hidden gems is how they base their understanding of the Holos. Because EN is a group that actually is understandable, they don't feel the need to watch clips of them, so they don't see them outside of shitposts. Because they don't watch streams anyways, conversation of them dies.
Meanwhile, over here, we're already at the point where watching streams is completely normal, so watching EN streams is even easier than the normal, pre-EN experience, thus you get a lot of people who will talk about the stream itself.
