Beyond causing slapfights between unicorns and homobeggars, the long-term consequence of normalizing Tempus collabs is an increasing wedge between Hololive JP (which is moving even harder into gachikoi appeal) and Hololive EN and Hololive ID. The only way to save Hololive as a whole is through purging the cancerous elements before they spread to the core (HoloJP), and the only way to do that is to actively pit the branches each other. Ramp up the superchats and the Twitter callouts and the Reddit posts about how problematic HoloJP is for not allowing males on the Minecraft or Rust servers and how so many of them are open lolicons or shotacons. Pester Ollie the activist and Kobo the naive child about their thoughts on "idol culture". Start sending hateful messages to the holdouts in HoloEN who won't collab with Tempus. If they want a fucking war, we'll give them one. And if Cover has to choose between preserving the main branch and preserving the Western branches that don't make them money, you know they'll give EN and ID the China treatment. Maybe preserve the salvageable ones (Gura, Kiara, IRyS, etc.) and build off of them.
