You know the weird thing is she is complete balls at the game and has no real reason to enjoy just losing endlessly.

She just wants it to be like her version of hanging in Minecraft it seems, where she always asks anyone to come play with her first thing regardless of if they even know the game at all.

Apex overall has been on the recline within Holo itself - besides Towa, basically nobody past Gen 2 even plays it with regularity. Even in Gen 2 you've got what only Choco actually playing/streaming it regularly after Aqua's flameout in the master rank attempt.

It might be a once in a blue moon thing for a few at best and just doesn't exist to most. Botan was a literal pro at it and doesn't fucking touch it. Apex was the big thing back when some of the ones still spamming it today (like Matsuri and Roboco) were themselves new - but that was years back now. I think those girls are kind of stuck in the past in a comfort zone with the game and Ollie is naturally not remotely perceptive enough to realize it's a has-been game for old-guard Holos who only play it because they can't be bothered to be a more modern breed Holo.
