people are too quick to equate the legs of the spider to the legs of the person, if you take the two and reduce them down to basic shapes the shape of the spider is much more fitting with the shape of the rib cage, so it would make more sense for the abdomen to extend into the hips and the legs to come out from the back or along the arms

applying the same concept to this is a little bit harder, as a pill bug is a very simple shape, pretty much just an oval, there really isn't any good place to put it that would have any parts match up well, however, you can instead look at the way a roly poly moves, curling up into a ball, and use that as an analog for a person going into a fetal position, and draw it around that, which would be roughly like >>76558083 but with the pereon wrapping around the body more and the cephalothorax actually connecting to the head. also since they have a ton of arms you could totally do the same thing with the ribs but they do extend deeper down so it might look a little weird. i think the artist there did a pretty good job even if the biological inaccuracies annoy me
