Shadow's design is corporate-tier, isn't overly fetishy or bland. It's complex and unique enough to be memorable but still very simple, similar to Gura. A lot of designs try too hard (see how almost every western indie with a "good" model looks like a Genshin character) or ends up being boring.
Shadow is unironically really good at character design.
