Most people aren't /vt/zens. They aren't comparing because they are malicious or want to say that one is worse and they aren't going to watch that whore. There are two things that look alike and it makes people think. There are opportunities in this. Rosemi and Maria might have similar designs and be in the same cute niche but their personalities are different so I don't think that many people will be jumping ship from one to the other. For me at least, Rosemi is a funny chuuba first and foremost. So far I don't see Maria being that, she is no stop sugar overdose. They are also in different time zones. But since they are similar in some ways they can do stuff together that will reinforce their position. Right now "cute and (somewhat) seiso" is not what you think when you hear "NijiEN" at all but get enough people to make content of Rosemary/nijipink/whatever and it will be a thing with its own fans.
I am absolutely biased about this tbqh. Lize and Lulu getting pitted together by the management because they were flagships of an underrepresented niche in the company and forming a friendship that lasts to this day behind the scenes was one of my favorite things to happen in the JP branch.

I honestly made it up on the spot and was inspired by /SCAM/. /wose/ was suggested in the big NijiEN thread, I think it's impossible to not attract weirdos on /vt/ lmao.
