/vt/ - Virtual Youtubers

Here's a quick review of the two voice packs I bought, for anyone who's on the fence about them. I cringed less than usual listening to these. Scenario information in spoilers.
>Selen VP
Track 1 (0:15): Selen cannot pronounce 'summertime.'
Track 2 (1:55): She sounds like she just woke up and doesn't want to get out of bed. It's pretty fun to listen to. It's really hot and Selen doesn't want to go outside, but you get her to go to the beach anyways. Ember is there to third-wheel.
Track 3 (1:22): This one's pretty standard Selen. She's still tired, but she's got her competitive spirit back. She's packing for the trip and found her old volleyball.
Track 4 (2:08): Selen's gotten a lot better at acting, I think. I thought this one was really funny. You drag Selen into the water while she complains about it the whole time, and then she drags you in too and challenges you to a volleyball match.
Track 5 (1:48): There's a little classic soft Selen at the end of this one - and she also gets really excited (about Ember, not you). It's you and Selen chilling at the beach with food.
Selen sounds surprisingly tired and raspy, given the scene, but it fits the personality she built up for this one - she's bratty, whiny Selen who really, really doesn't want to go to the beach, but in the end, she's still having fun.

Track 1 (0:03): Cute pengy.
Track 2 (1:36): This is actually the follow-up to the teaser in her JP voice pack she mentioned. It's a phone call where she makes fun of you for not touching grass during summer break and then invites you to go to the beach.
Track 3 (1:48): This is so soft and sweet and adorable, honestly. A very vulnerable-sounding Petra who also compliments you. Penguin gets sick on the bus and leans on your shoulder.
Track 4 (2:02): Lots of really cool sound effects in this one, as well as some cute banter and sass. We're at the beach and she's showing off her new swimsuit, then you offer to teach her how to swim.
Track 5 (2:32): Another soft and sweet one where she talks about how important you are to her. She gets a little emotional about how she doesn't like the beach and how she's really happy now that she has friends like you.
Petra said she went all-out for this voice pack - and it really shows. There's a bunch of extra sound effects that really set the scene, and they feel natural and realistic. If you're familiar with Petra's streams and the way she usually banters with chat, this is just more of that with the adorable pumped up to the max.

Thanks for reading my thesis paper. I have nothing to say about Sonny's voice pack because I am too retarded for Japanese.
