Nothing wrong with using /vt/ to kickstart your vtuber career and tossing them aside once you become big enough to not need them.
The problem is you being here, surrounded by mentally ill grown men who gossip about virtual characters all day like their lives depend on it, and thinking you are in good company. And that's not mentioning racists, pedophiles, white supremacists, neonazis, homophobes and transphobes.
Reminder that game devs used to come do AMAs on 4chan sometimes, not many but they did. /v/ had a meetup with Gaben, sent postcards to Nintendo, etc. There was a sort of healthy relationship between 4chan and big companies and it was okay for it to be public. Now absolutely no one in their right mind wants anything to do with the place since 2016, and for good reason.
