Hello, yes, liaschizo here. This topic was briefly mentioned in the previous thread but as in "at war with your kamioshii" I think it is important to appreciate all aspects of the chuuba experience. Identifying and pursuing the additional layer of content that the talents perform outside of the raw streaming delivery really helps to create the depth of understanding necessary to generate meaningful interaction and content development as interactive audience. Moon cycles and intracompany developments help craft a verifiable foundation for creating actionable engagement with the talent that can then be used for their sake as further career enrichment. In a non-/pcg/ application I think it is important to look at a character such as Hololive ENs Gwar Gura wherein the capitulation to corporate masters and trends has had an overall stifling, negative effect on the individuals personal satisfaction and growth. I think that this has been in part the reason Lumi has been re-engaging with the Gura popularized "oh nyo" as a ultra subtle gilrboss dig at Yuri's rebranding efforts. Now this is where the layers upon layers of the psychological postering inherent to the parasocial arena of, in particularly yab focused, content production circles propagate. The "oh nyo" psychological barb relies on that walls closing in sensation of commitment that Yuri has engaged with her new model and the general roll out of not so subtle personality changes. On the surface level this could be viewed any number of ways but the prevailing anti-position is in it somehow being a commitment to a more egirl, passive bitchy trauma bound sunken cost fallacy to extract maximum funding from her viewerbase which lends an even stronger meta nod to the "Hostages". On the other hand this may just be a temporary metacontextual deconstruction of the egirl trope by Yuri leveraging the initial design pushback as catalyst for delving into this content arc. This is further compounded by the "Lubei/Veimi" development creating a duplicitous examination of the anti-Hololive corpo thesis embodied by Vshojo's creator/content grift. By having the Yuri personality change arc coinciding with the Lu/bae/Veimi look change one could even argue an equally subtle dig from Sex Cat at Yellow Woman by inverting the demographic grift. The ongoing ""fallout"" between the formercorpo pair continues to be a valid content resource for generating speculation and commentary on the kayfabe nature of intracorporate interactions and relationships itself. I think there has been a healthy feeling of concern processing from the Sex Cat camp over commitment to the craft and at least in Yugi's case the additional stress of having gone through with the upgrade. How this is coming to a head before the Lia chuuba career commitment donothon really adds an additional layer of consideration and tension to be appreciate as we look into the mutual aspect of viewer base supporting talent and how that manifests financially. I hate women so much it's unreal.
