Some Phasefags were being aggressive about it ever since the double whammy of Lumi and Yuri being picked up from CyberLive and Tsunderia having its mass exodus, and then Pippa joking about it and Sakana really stupidly making a public statement about how he thinks poaching is fine sent it into overdrive for the better part of a year.
It wasn't until recently when it became clear that they were actively hurting the chances of the people they kept harassing from wanting to join and being actively told to fuck off by several people that they finally started to shut up (although there are still the occasional stragglers who didn't get the memo).
