She was always the same. You just thought it was a joke because she was constantly fucking up, but she was always just as full of herself. She has deep rooted emotional issues. Her supporting Connor is just her cope to not admit being in Hololive basically saved her life. She was living horribly in Japan and when she started doing this she was extremely thankful for it. She even couldn't hold back tear on her Mad Father stream when people were giving her tons of money; that was also the same stream where she went to the bathroom without turning the mic off iirc -- her apartment was really that small that you could hear what she was doing there. Deadbeats will deny all of this but you can see what her problem is if you look at the music she did before joining Hololive. It's not like she was tight lipped about it.

Frankly, she just used Kiara. Kiara was the only other girl in HoloMyth that was also in Japan. She knew the culture, she got along with the JP branch, she even had a crush on Mori. TakaMori was an easy way for Mori to present herself in a well-established dynamic. All she needed was to reject Kiara's advances, which she could do easily because she didn't care about her all that much and didn't need to reciprocate except occassionally when she felt like it. It was a very "you scratch my back, I scratch yours" relationship for her. When it was all done she just shrugged it all off because it was never that important to her in the first place. Of course Kiara's the one that got shat on for it all, even though she barely got anything out of it.

Mori's a genuinely bad person. But the worst part about isn't that she would admit it, but that she'd be proud about it.

The fans on this board are terrible though. And it's not just the bait threads. I can't stand /hlgg/ itself and the way it treats vtubers. It's all so self-referential. It stopped being about the vtubers themselves on this board a long time ago. I mostly stick to the NijiEN thread nowadays, but if it ever turns out that way there I'll just have to bite the bullet and enjoy NijiEN in silence as well.

Humans understand the intrinsic value these types of things have. Real humans, that is, understand they themselves are the start and end of the world and exist for their own enjoyment. They come together to sing national anthems, or watch the game, or see and hear the Greats perform. No one is tricking them. They understand that everyone is playing along and agreed to be there.

A human being makes reality. Not the other way around.
