They're probably the biggest independent vtubing music act in Japan, maybe behind MZM or KMNZ as the biggest vtubing rappers if you don't count Harusaruhi who's half rapper and half singer, with DIY making some rounds in the regular nightclub scene there. They're a big enough deal to have a semi-constant physical merch presence in some shops in Akiba, and they have a bunch of connections to various other artists through them both being long time musicians in the doujin and netrap scene respectively. They've done a remix of one of AZKi's songs that was on an official EP of hers, and are fairly regular guests at virtual music festivals, such as Tubeout. As to whether that makes them an actual big name in the jrap scene is harder to contextualize, since I have not the same breadth of knowledge as I do the vsinger side, but I would guess that they're not unheard of even by people who don't care about vtubers if they're interested in Jrap.

Last night we had Ci on MiMi's radio show, 2 weeks after she had Rene. Given that the Super Cat has rapped before, this might be the prelude to one or more hip-hop collabs.

Akatsuki Luci hasn't put out anything produced recently, but we've just got two stellar singing streams with her and guests in the past weeks; one of Boogey's friends in Coco from the CocoTsuki project and the bee herself, Hachi.

Last, but certainly not least, Hachi just released a collab cover with Else, another of AZKi's friends. They're both great, and have very different voices which contrast nicely. As I was digging up the link, I just noticed that like a certain reaper, Hachi also made the video for the cover, though not the art itself.

I've been listening to her ever since Mori tweeted about her. I was a little worried that she was afraid of a Western fanbase after preceding stream was only Japanese music, but then this one she's back to English in the thumbnail and a hefty portion of her songs being western-esque. Hope she ends up as the next snek.
