I know you're in these threads so I'll just say it here (because it's too long for a youtube post)

there are a few western equivalents of "menhera" that I won't get into, but on this website in particular we tend to use "schizo" in a similar way. In any case it's mostly used disparagingly, mostly to refer to people that take their parasocial relationship with a vtuber too far (like the kinds of people that would get genuinely upset about the Takuya joke and threaten to unsubscribe for example.)

However it can also sometimes be used in a kinder sense, since frankly we're all a little schizo here. The gosling posts for example, while still pretty schizo, aren't considered as bad since it's coming from a place of love and is mostly benign.

We've been calling you menhera the last few days but it's mostly been a term of endearment in this instance, since again we're all kind of menhera here. Think of it as us saying we can relate to your more "down" moments as well as your "up" moments.

With this Beatani is cemented in the top 5% of Vtubers when it comes to handling spaghetti monsters online. Especially when you consider that she's Japanese and her fans are foreigners and she's not even speaking her first language. Lots of other Japanese chuubas think they have to pussyfoot around with kaigainikki because they are afraid to be rude to non-Japanese meanwhile here's Bea-chan handing out a nonchalant public castration like this. So ridiculously based. You can tell she's spent a lot of time fucking around on the Internet and different boards.

Sorta. I included that last post to give some context for the dadhood thing and for how that thread felt but everyone in that thread was already feeling like some kind of parental figure because of the unique interaction. It only took like 15 posts after that for anons to start saying "my bear daughter" and then it was just fact. Also during her first or second post-4choom stream she said we were like her dads (probably because she was reading the thread) and of course everyone couldn't help going full dad gosling.

Anyone who was in that thread knows how it felt, it was just so wholesome on a day when most threads were complaining about SEAniggers or kiara or antis or schizos. Best part was that Bea-chan she wasn't even looking for an audience (at least not explicitly) she just wanted advice on where to advertise and accidentally ended up with an audience. Of dads.
