Ayame Janurary 2nd Mario Kart stream summary
>First Mario Kart stream of the year! Yaaay! Today's goal was actually learning how to play Mario Kart without driver's assist on because the tournament's coming up and she's going to be up against really strong folks so it's time to take the training wheels off for once in her life. She completely sucks at driving..at the start. This is mostly because as she's stated, she's a pure keyboard+mouse warrior, games that require the use of controllers are a lot harder for her. As the stream went on she got way better at controlling her cart and not drifting into walls/off the stage AS MUCH and even managed to pick up some first places. She's a steady in the middle Mario Karter, and if she continues to do her reps she has an actual chance at making it out of Group A and into Winners. Of course she has no confidence at all and thinks that she'll get the lowest place in her group.
>After doing tons of races and bombing every desert stage it's time for supachat readings and the first thing she talks about is how she wants to continue playing more Pokemon on stream since Pokemon doesn't truly start until you beat Pokemon. Wished that she had four Ayames for her to use because she's still incredibly busy but definitely wants to do more. No concrete plans on the next Pokemon stream though.
>On the topic of the upcoming Pokemon tournament Ayame says that becoming the Hololive Champion was based on the purest of oni luck and that her knowledge of Pokemon is honestly on the low side. The only reason she had such a powerful stream was because she watched videos of the strongest trainers at tournaments and mimicked their teams and choices. Has absolutely no confidence in this upcoming one and doesn't even know the rules of it. Hopes that her manager can at least provide her with a Ditto so she can work on her strategy should the time arrives.
>After 20 minutes talking about Pokemon and the keyboard she's using which looks like a cat and is loud as all hell, she finally started reading supachats. The first supachat she read was from an ojisan who told Ayame to have a Happy New Year and reminded her to do her Ring Fit reps. Ayame has not been doing her Ring Fit reps and lied straight through her pointy teeth.
>Lots of supachats asked her what her New Years resolutions were and she said that she would like to increase the frequency of Ayame streams, realized that she says this every year giggled and said that she must now reflect on her actions and resolutions she made in 2021.
>Due to her taking off the training wheels in Mario Kart for the first time in today's stream, talked about the first time she rode a bike and took off the training wheels. Proudly proclaimed that when she was little, she was a fearless oni who would jump head first into dangerous scenarios without a care in the world. Now that she's a...mostly...adult oni she thinks about the consequences more and is now terrified of riding a bike. She's never gotten into an accident where she broke bones or lost teeth though so she was happy about that. Said that she wasn't worried about breaking bones since she had strong ones after drinking lots and lots of milk regularly.
>Asked everyone if they listened to the Onikemodance which is an original song consisting of Mio, Ayame and Fubuki which has finally officially become a group. Noticed that there's a bunch of TikToks over said dance and song and was happy about it because she practiced it a whole bunch with Fubuki and Mio.
>SHE HASN'T VISITED HER PARENTS HOUSE YET. She has been procrastinating and putting it off for months now. She's visited her Mama Mio and Big Sister Korone's houses more than she saw her mother and father who she has punched before. Says she'll visit them tomorrow and then added a very big tabun at the end of her sentence.
>Wants to continue making a place where everyone can gather and laugh with each other because hanging out not only with nakirigumis but also other fanbases as they laugh along to Ayame's antics are the things she treasures the most. She really dislikes seeing people fight or doing/saying things to hurt each other and just wants the world to be filled with joy.
>Read a supachat that didn't call her cute but called her beautiful. This caught her off guard and she zoomed in becoming the big Oni and thanked that person because she really likes it when people say other things than cute like calling her pretty or beautiful.
>Will not be acquiring tiger ears like the other Holos have because she's already an Oni and putting animal ears onto her head would make her look like some kind of weird chimera but she did wonder what kind of animal she'd become if she grew animal ears.
>Hasn't been drinking a lot, only enough to get a little buzz. Planning to drink the brand new strawberry sake she bought for an incoming drinking stream where she'll be talking for hours upon hours since she has a boatload of things to talk about.
