People don't watch the rivals stream, they watch their favourite streamer. Funnily enough twitch rivals has a similar problem as the sports festival where it doesn't know if its supposed to be a competitive event or a for fun event resulting in some people practising and picking tryhard teams while others pick their friends and just have a good time. Although in twitch rivals I don't think they change the rules of the event halfway
