>So, a number station is a, essentially like, a radio station. A broadcast frecuency that was used during like, war times. Uh, for spies that were hiding behind enemy lines. So essentially spies in different countries would tune into these frequencies, and listen to these numbers because they had the key, that they could use these to decode these numbers. Anybody could listen to them. Even the enemy could listen to the numbers, but because they didn't have the key, they couldn't decode it and didn't understand what the message meant. And the thing about number stations is nobody really knows a lot about them, and like who owns them, what their message is, who they're intended for, but, a- as time has moved on different methods of communicating, secret communication has been developed. But, here's the, the part that's interesting and a little bit scary, number stations still exist. They're still broadcasting to this day. And it's super easy to anybody to just tune into the frequency, and you will hear those numbers. You will hear the numbers being read, and who knows, maybe someone, somewhere is still listening to them with the key to decode them. Something to think about.
