This. I work for a company that manufacture shit for casinos and things like that. If you emailed, we basically asked for specs and the idea, amount of potential units to calculate a preliminary cost and shat out a initial prototype in about 1½h pending the project of course (a wending machine cover takes obviously longer than a baseball cap) took pictures and sent those back. If the client was happy we'd invite them in to do tweaks or initial revisions with designers. Any competent manufacturer has a proto floor that constantly shits out whatever the design team or clients send them to look at it. The amount of slot machines, blackjack tabletops, roulette wheels, coffee mugs, trashcans, chairs, lamps, couches, floor mats, ashtrays, posters, sweaters, t-shirts, keychains, pens, hats ect. that's rejected prototypes or pending final decision sitting in storage is massive. If it doesn't pass we'd disassemble whatever was useful and destroy the rest.

My sleep schedule is fucked and I've been noticing that during the day the RPs are mid at best, retarded at worst.

At night, I'm getting golden RPs like that one I just posted. It unironically seems to me that whenever the devs sleep, they stop obsessively fucking with the filter and the quality improves dramatically. Around 12-2AM my time seems to be absolute peak performance where it's almost pre-filter levels of good.
