As someone who has been active in wvt since their first thread, they really got a slow transformation from regular thread to everyone being "/here/" and the feel of the early threads are total opposite of the curret one.

Talking about not here vtubers: Rose, Nina, Mocca (who wasn't aware at the time). Some 2 views vtubers were there but not watched or talked about.

Some vtubers heard of the thread or made themselves known as posters, like Yoroyoro, mocca finding the thread,
Some anons start vtubing, like seep (eira), and some guy with red hair

Because of that male vtuber getting viewers and creating a separation in the community between the anons who stream and the anons who are just viewer, viewers feel left out and start vtubing one after another, soon reaching 10~15 male vtubers and a few female vtubers all from the thread
Many other mid-sized (50~100 viewers) vtubers from outisde heard about the thread and come to it and self post (the tiger, megbert, josabelle, veleck, the list is like 20 names long)
Nowadays the posters are like 80% of vtubers, and probably more like some kind of friend's group, I guess friends are one way to get and give attention on a daily basis
