Depends on what type of coffee you drink and what your budget is. Pour over VS espresso are the only real grinder categories that exist, so whichever you make more is the one you should get a grinder for. The Baratza Encore is the everpresent "pretty good" pour over standard, Sette 30 is kinda the higher end espresso focused "pretty good" standard, and Rancilio Rocky is the "it does it all good enough" pick. I've also heard good things about the Eureka Mignon line but I've never tried them. Personally I just have a Virtuoso+ for everything but espresso, but my espresso machine has a grinder built in so I didn't need to go super fine on my standalone grinder.

That probably puts you somewhere near the brazillian / costa rica / el salvador region. I'd recommend trying https://www.mayorgaorganics.com/collections/all-coffee/products/elsalvador if you want to try something new. Mayorga is a cuban style roaster though, so they're super heavy on the actual roasty flavor. If you have the cash to spare I'd recommend trying a sampler box from Blue Bottle or Verve or Bluebeard. The Blue Bottle sets lean a little too acidic for my tastes but their pricetag backs up the quality, it's expensive but so is a wine tasting event so eeehhh. The Bluebeard El Capitan blend is also quite good although it's very basic, it's a great blend to test in different brewing methods and styles.

Blade grinders are a sin, you need a burr grinder for coffee. This is not hyperbole, you NEED a burr grinder. The standard for "good enough" is the Baratza Encore, which is a perfectly fine grinder for coffee at under $150. If you have the cash to spare though I'd recommend looking at the Vario-W or Virtuoso+. The Rancilio Rocky is also a pretty great grinder at about $400 but it doesn't really excel in grind consistency, it's got great range though. It'll still be 100X better than a blade grinder though so anything is an upgrade.

Don't feel bad about it, women are almost always a waste of time. There's no need to rush to find love in another person when $800 can get you the same brain chemicals on a more consistent basis for a one time payment with only minimal maintenance. If you wanna get fancy maybe a couple one time payments of $1500 and $600. Technically you'll still spend about $28 a month assuming you have one doubleshot per day, but you can mitigate those costs even more by putting in another one time payment of $600 and buying coffee in bulk for like $7 a pound instead of $14 for 12 ounces.
