In such a state, you overamplify every single "bad" (read: thing YOU personally thought was bad) thing you did and minimize every good thing. To think herself unlikeable, then, she would have to really focus and amplify in her mind every time she thought was a jerk or every time she "wronged" someone (whether she actually did or not, what actually happened has no bearing on what SHE thinks happened). All the good stuff? Just glosses over it. "That's just doing what I'm supposed to." "It was nothing." Nevermind this completely ignores things like why she started streaming in the first place, which was to make people laugh and be a bit less miserable amid COVID—personally I don't think a bad person would even have that as a reason, but that's just me.

Why are we so devoted to Koopa? It is not so much that she is a succubus or is in any way tainted by the demonic, but her nature is just as ephemeral as such a creature. What inspires this obsession is perhaps less who she is and more what she embodies.

She is the ARCHETYPAL nerd gf. The one who really does get your obscure references and laughs at your dank memes. The one who you actually can talk at length about the most embarrassingly weebish dross fresh from Japan because she enjoys that trash too. The one who really IS not like the other girls.

A literal idol, one you've unknowingly spent years praying and hoping for, however strongly. And how could you not? You've had your interests warped and stunted by years on the Internet Hate Machine, at least 10, probably more. That's enough time to gain interests that mark you further and further removed from regular society. That's only more the case if you started coming here when you weren't even technically allowed to under the global rules. Your interests skew to the degenerate weeb garbage that only the other stunted minds of 4chan know about. How could one so maladjusted find a flesh-and-blood waifu like that?

Years of pining and hoping and suddenly out of the blue comes the archetype, the platonic ideal of what you've imagined your gf would be. An idol you unknowingly spent years carving. A Galatea of your own mind delivered right through a screen.
