Because I enjoy streaming and making content using a virtual avatar that is an established character which is or isn't as close to me as a person as I want. Sometimes I enjoy rambling about my personal experiences, other times I enjoy playing up reactions and going on in-character rants for the theatrics.

>How did you start networking? If you have issues talking to people, how did you get over that?
Hypothetically, twitter is the main communication platform. Hanging out and chatting in someone's stream before sending a message to them helps. Understanding that most people are happy to talk if you reach out and even if they're not, you're not really any worse off than when you started. So even if reaching out doesn't always help, it never hurts if you approach it reasonably. This is all hypothetical though, I don't really do networking reps because I'm autistic (also timezones and general work life balance/other commitments hasn't been the best for me the last month or two for vtubing).
