I'm a jack of all trades but a master of none. I can be supportive most of the time but I shut everyone out when I feel depressed. I've been called attractive a few times but it only happens when people see me at my best and I am ignored otherwise. I have trouble communicating my thoughts and feelings in conversation and any conversations that I do have usually die out very quickly because of this.

What brought me into the vtuber community unlike other forms of streaming was that much like anonymity on 4chan, the avatar provided a protective layer to your identity. It allows shy introverts to be themselves without as much judgement. I think that's why a lot of vtubers come from here. On the one hand people could be bullshitting you but on the other there's the very real community of people out there who use it to express themselves in ways they couldn't otherwise. I love that about them. I love how relatable they are, but it also worries me because of how relatable they are. They run into the same struggles many of us do and they overcame that and made something out of it. I haven't. I wish to, but I haven't and I don't know if I ever could. Knowing they overcame common struggles, makes them attractive to me but because of that I also know they deserve better. I look up to and admire them, fitting for the meaning of an idol, but I also know that idols live in a world of their own with their own issues. So for as much as I love these people, I can't see myself being with them. Their job is to bring love to those who need it the most but those who love the most also need love the most during their lowest times, and today is still a day that I don't think I can do that. All I can do is simply be there for them and that's what I'll continue to do.

>TL:DR I love them but I understand that I won't be enough for them.

What do you do when vtubers can't fill the void any longer?
