I've been trying to update it on the following rough schedule:
>9:05a (Adjustment time)
>10:05a
>Between 12p and 1p
>Between 3p and 4p
>7:05p
>Between 10p and 12a
My ability to update it is subject to various things, but I try to make sure it updates at least 3 times a day: Once at adjustment, once for Numbers Review, and once in-between.

Right now the ideal scenario is one that makes people want to get shit out of their wallet and drive volume down.
I think the play is keep buying where it is, but make multisell cheaper and you can do more of it. Right now, a good spike isn't worth multiselling, because of both the adjustment cap being $ based instead of % based, and also because the taxes on Multiselling are so ridiculous that a coin has to more than triple in value to cut a profit on 5x. Even if you absolutely must multisell 5x all day, that's 720 shares. Depending on the coin, that's a drop in the bucket for most players in the Top 50, if not the Top 100.

>Will you just leave it running and forget about the game?
Simple solution to complicated problem: Turn it off automatically every day at 12a Server Time when the market resets.
>How are you feeling about the game right now?
It feels like we're in a repair phase of the game. A few high-profile players quit and I wager that some people have gotten a bit sour to the attempts to fix the market despite all of the warnings. That can't be helped, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The market doesn't feel stable but it also doesn't feel out of control, which is a place I'm fairly okay with being in. The broker and multicoin taxes were a brilliant way to force liquid out of the market and bait idiots/oshicoiners into loosening their purses. Tying in the superchats was also a masterstroke. Full marks from me for that one. It's always better to recycle and repurpose mechanics and ideas when you can if I recall, one of you is an engineer, so you're probably used to that sort of thinking.
There is a bit of contention on the way honk presented the "slightly less nerfed dividends" (read: The borderline total reversion of the dividends to previous levels).

Other minor things to maybe consider or look into:
>Nabi and Nana's superchat data in the /getSuperchats?all endpoint are swapped. They're not swapped in the site UI so I don't know what this means, but their current superchat totals are swapped when I scrape the data for Numbers Review. Also please confirm you're not getting fucking 160~something calls simultaneously from google servers at about 7:30p server time
>There is a bug multiple users have reported where their autotrader turns off. I looked into it when it happened to me and it seems to be the cooldown timer glitching out, as it will read "Trading in [line break]" while still being on, with the countdown having vanished entirely.
>Multicoin isn't terribly viable and that's fine in the short term. Don't let the users bully you into lowering the taxes, at least in the short term. Maybe later when the market deflates a bit more. For your notes, though, 10% on multisell hurts significantly worse than multibuy.

>Multicoin Trading
Does nothing except silence the portion of the userbase that won't stop asking for it. Contributes nothing to the overall gamestate. Also, Broker fees don't affect sales and mass dumping is what I would want to use it for. Do not do.
>Asset Tiers
>Oshi Assets
>Gacha Items that do things
>Hats
All of these are good ideas, but polish them a bit.
>New Dividend Formula with the coin comparing more to itself than to the market mean.
FUCK I NEVER CONSIDERED MARKET MEAN AS THE CENTRAL POINT EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW. Putting aside how magic is dead, that will cause dividend values to be a bit wild and also most of them will likely go UP unless you slash the numbers low across the board. I'm talking pennies on the dollar level of slashing prices. It's not a terrible idea, but I implore you to reconsider. Maybe make the dividend formula the same, but based on the "real" value instead of the market value assuming it's not already like that
>Changing adjustment back to 1a
No. I say this as somebody where neither time is significant. I'm up for both anyway. While you are correct that the trade time has made the game stale, the autotrader does not alleviate the problem enough. There are issues with leaving the trader on overnight, least of which are the reliability concerns. The autotrader is not a viable or even semi-viable replacement for being present at adjustment until we can set times for it to turn on and have it run without a client being open. Even if the Haatontrader was 100% bog free and endorsed, I would not consider it viable without modifications that would effectively render it able to play the game for you without your input. That's the opposite of engagement. Heavily reconsider this idea, or at least reconsider the reasoning behind it. Your current reasoning is flawed.

Honk, seriously consider doing a mass culling of session IDs. It is way too easy to accidentally just have a trader running forever. The trader's good, but I do my OpSec and I still know it's too easy for me to slip up.

For those waiting on an update regarding IRyS' dividends analysis, everything I knew was a lie.
Back to the drawing board. I have some ideas but nothing concrete yet. My closest estimate was still a good $250 over, and the formula I used last week returned an estimate of over 2k...which was obviously wrong.

I'll keep working on it and get back to you guys.

Yo whaddup.
Question: Would people be interested in a report on oshiboards and/or oshiboarders? Specifically, these are the things I was considering:
>Total value of Directors
>Market Share held by actual Oshii holders.
>How Many Richfags are in your oshiboard?
>Other suggested things.
Basically, something similar to the G.U.R.A. report, but going over the Oshiboards specifically.

Can you explain the rebounding mechanic in a bit more detail? On our end we just see shit that would logically crab or even go up dive into the red. That's not particularly helpful in regards to being able to give feedback, because all we see is RED TOMORROW RED TODAY.
Also, can you explain the recent phenomenon with lack of consistency on adjustments? Chuubas who don't stream very often or haven't streamed at all (Haato, Shion, Ayame) seem to be escaping the brutal punishments that other coins get for similar activity (Coco, Aki, Mel). Haato in particular seems very suspicious since she hasn't streamed in a month and is only getting a moderately steady stream of views and subs.
Can you also confirm or deny developer intervention in Ayamy's price, and the logic thereof?

I do the F.U.C.K. reports every day, and I'm also a tabletop game designer by trade. I work with a lot of numbers on a regular basis, although I'm no good at coding. MOST of the time I can tell that something is going to go up or down, but things like this week's massive bog are a complete mystery to me. I usually end up relying on anon explanations for unexpected adjustment directions and values. This was one of the main reasons I spoke up about concerns with the anti-overbuy mechanic, since looking at the stats doesn't give any real indication that something is "overbought" unless it's so far gone that it's painfully obvious. My initial concerns were offset by the statement that was made about how it still has a net gain over the "projected" price, but then we had the massive bog. I'm not sure those are related, but I'm willing to bet some anons have their suspicions.
Also, keep in mind that I see everything after the fact, and I do the report when the market is "closing" for the day and new data no longer counts. I can tell when anons have thought collectively "okay this coin is worth buying into now", but those usually match with the dips for that day.

That said, I don't think it's necessarily a problem for the formula to be unclear. Trust me, I get wanting to keep mechanics obscure to prevent people from gaming the system too hard. That's not what this game's about. But, implementation of a mechanic that requires you to understand what makes a coin adjust in a specific way feels concerning when that is a very much obscured mechanic from the players.
