Mio clearly cares about her fans very much and just wants them to be happy.

If beerpals got a little more honest and voiced their true feelings instead of trying to 'help' her so much then she could get an accurate read on what she wants to do based on that. Instead she's constantly chasing shadows of what beerpals are saying vs. what they really want and goes looking for the 'truth' somewhere else because they're not giving it to her.

There is an absolutely psycho feminist movement in South Korea, but the state, institutions and society in general are about as far from feminist as you get in highly developed countries. Not that it's super relevant to vtubers, but in Mio's case you have to keep in mind courts will almost always favour men in S. Korea.

See the article for an example of a man starting a family on the side - the wife got 1.2% after a 24-year marriage and 3 kids. Precedent in legal cases apparently does actually give some value to raising kids and such referred to as "home labour" which apparently entitles the stay-at-home spouse to somewhere between 30 - 40%.
