I've re-listened to this about 100 times and I am now convinced the sound engineer was told to make everyone sound less good except IRyS.
especially at pic related IRyS sounds clear and powerful and amazing while in the rest of the song everyone else's voices seem robotted or turned too low in the mix or like they even used a not so great take.
