Main audience is probably overstating it, but Japan is full of idol wannabes. Suisei also has a pretty strong girl next door energy about her and additionally I suspect that the whole Suicopath shtick might manifest a kind of edginess most women possess but are afraid to openly express. So it's a case of literally (idealized) me.
