The /a/ thread culture for 5tobun and our culture for HoloEN is nearly exactly the same, except instead of the girls competing with each other, they work with each other.
It's hard to explain if you weren't there for it, but /a/'s 5tobun threads and /hlgg/ are extremely similar. Even down to how people would write insanely convoluted narratives trying to predict what would happen next in the manga/streams(narratives = parallels),how some fandoms have bonds with each other in threads(Order of the Ribbon = chum-mates), how some would antipost girls not caring about their group(Mori doesn't care about Hololive = Ichika doesn't care about her sisters), so on and so forth, I could bring up parallels for hours between the two.
For fucks sake, we even had phoneposting.
