You know there are already an assortment of fics about what Mori does after the rest of HoloMyth dies but they're all angst filled trying to be melodramatic.
But after listening to EoaL I started thinking about a more optimistic future for lore wank fics. She's a stronger and happier person now than she was before. Instead of trying to do something like undo their deaths or keep Myth's souls with her, what if she just lets her friends rest in peace.
She takes what she's learned from the time she spent with them and keeps on making new connections with new people instead of isolating herself in her work again. Even tracking down and bonding with the reincarnations of her old friends, watching over them and trying to help them live happy lives as well. A real Angel of Death.
