Since this whole thread is already roommate dramaposting I might as well cave in and post this because there's something I don't get about the whole situation.
Not shitposting or anything, I'm just genuinely confused

So going with the assumption that it's a bf, which makes most sense, it's happening on activities outside of her "idol job" for lack of a better term. It's unrelated, so does she really need to hide it? Or are her other activities also something where a bf would be considered scandalous? Then again, thinking about twitch thot culture, it probably is. Also her fanbase stays the same, so someone will "leak" it either way so I get the reaction. Her panicked excuse just wasn't believable at all so she fucked up lol

That's not all though. She keeps frequently menheraposting elsewhere about her longtime friends getting kids and whatnot, about not having a bf and the like. If she did have one though, why would she keep menheraposting about it, I don't get it. Or is it a part of her act over there? Do people like that menhera stuff so much or what. Also someone said on this thread that her roommate has also said that she wouldn't be streaming if she had a bf.
It's all so confusing, like the most obvious candidate is a bf but thinking about the details makes it confusing as hell

Anyways, if anything it's probably a one night thing imo, because of the things I listed above. Also I don't think Matsuri lied about having a motokano before Hololive, so whoever this dude was he's probably not been around for long, if not just a one night thing as I said.
But wait, if it was a one night random dude, why would she choose to start a stream while he's still around? I don't reckon they live together unless they were already fairly long-term, but then all the menheraposting and being mopy about not having a relationship comes in and makes it confusing again. Unless the menhera is all an act. I don't know, I'll just assume that it was a one night thing, makes the most sense to me. A long-term doesn't even make sense thinking about her lifestyle, completely random sleep schedule, half of the days going to work, playing Apex till morning and the like. I stopped watching all but 2 Hololive members (outside of events/large collabs) after Coco graduated, the magic is gone besides the ones I truly cared about.

For me its the engagement factor, when I watch streamers I tend to do it to relax chill out and just unwind and listen to them. Its not "fun" but its nice. But Holofightz and by extension watchalongs with Holos using cytube are engaging since im usually involved with the community interactions and enjoying injokes and the like so its a more fun experience than relaxing one I find when watching the girls.
