/hlgg/ is like a constant tailgate for a neverending football game.
But because of that, there are some people that only show up to crib off the people who show up for tailgates with big BBQ setups that give out free cuts of meat to people for the games, and take it for granted, to the point where they start thinking the whole point of the tailgate is to get free BBQ from people, not to show up and hang out for the neverending game.
It's an unfortunate byproduct, but at the same time, they're easy enough to ignore and the game is still good, so the tailgate is worth it. Even if the drifters who hang out will just show up and complain that "no one makes BBQ for me anymore, all the good BBQ ran to the Tennis court tailgate, if I were the team owner I'd do it way better than their coach does it," or whatever issue they want to run with that day.

Aight, some big boring story time from me. Skip all this reading because I can't be arsed to TL;DR this shit.

During pre-debut, I was investing on Ceres just because no one else was talking about her at the time. I was also the OP for the first few Ceres general threads. It was pretty chill. Other anons and I at the time would talk about what Ceres would be like and stuff. And then a couple of them hooked me up on hopium and convinced me to become a Hanabro after watching some of her old stuff and I really enjoyed them. As debut time drew closer, I was getting more convinced that it was gonna be her because nature theme (and some more hopium from other Hanabros where they talked about how the tweeting style was similar with the same emojis, the same debut thumbnails, etc.). That all changed when the bigger and more convincing rrat dropped in the general and all hell broke loose. It didn't help that the debut streams were postponed as well so the shitstorm went on for a while. After finally watching Ceres' debut live, I was left kinda devastated and disappointed. Some of the Hanabros were still having some hopium left about her being Mumei, but a part of me knew that it's most likely not going to happen. Mumei threads at the time were chaotic with too many people overdosing on hopium on other shit too so I didn't feel like getting mixed into all of that. The Ceres general turned into a literal shithole that day as well and that further demotivated me to make any more threads of her.

When her debut ended, it was around 5.30am because fucking hell all the debuts started in the early morning and I hadn't gotten any sleep. I liked Sana's debut as it left me energized and I was gonna stop watching the other debuts live after Ceres', go straight to bed and then watch the VODs later. I just went "fuck sleep" and instead watched Kronii's debut live because I might as well since there's some tiddies and I like Wada-sensei's works though initially Kronii didn't really stood out enough for me pre-debut so I had no expectations for her. Also, at the time I was supposed to stay up to watch Mumei's debut live as I still had some hopium stash at the side but didn't want to take them.

I definitely didn't regret my decision staying up for another hour to watch Kronii's debut live because I actually enjoyed it a lot. I was left highly satisfied after her debut that I just went to sleep not giving a shit about Mumei and Hakos (sorry to the girls and their fans) because I knew that Kronii will be just enough for me to follow more often for stream contents alongside Sana too sometimes. This general is also one of the better parts while I'm still on the Kronii train. Lots of inspired fanfics, fanarts, even a few fanmade ASMRs from voiceclips. It's a fun place and hopefully this whole vibe remains for as long as possible.
